Physical Therapy gear at home

I’m in physical therapy for my back (I have very painful arthritis in my Lumbar Spine, more on that later!). It requires some gear at home, and pretty inexpensive. It’s become tolling on my back, as my back hurts after I work out, but it is supposed to help. I’m working out daily, low impact, praying for relief!

Enough on that, here is the gear i use daily.

The huge and smaller ball is for balance. Melody practices with me on the smaller ball. It’s always a laughing experience. Resistance bands for some impact on my leg and ab muscles while i exercise (hard to explain). This master because I want to tone my arms and legs. Lacrosse balls for joint pain in my glut (this is a large set of  muscles, extending into your abs I’ve learned). And a small child’s ball for some resistance while ab training.

Just some fun stuff I thought I’d share. Ill have to catch a video of Melody on the ball, its hilarious! Love y’all!

Database fun!

So, I’m at the tail end of my MySQL class and I’m making my own database! I’m loving scripting, so next semester should be really fun as I will be studying programming in detail!! I’m enrolled in four classes next semester, so I’m going to be one busy mama! I can’t wait for the break though. The 9th is the last day, yippee!

Anyhow, for those of you that haven’t seen SQL in action, here’s a quick screenie.

Love you all!

Melody’s dental trip

We went to the dentist for her month cleaning, she just lost 2 teeth, so it was time! X-rays revealed she has 4 more to loose before getting braces. How exciting! Anyways, above is a pic of the x-ray!

Last 2 weeks of summerschool!

I’m down to the knitty gritty of the semester. I’ve been overwhelmed with the combination of school, kids and spinal pain, so I’ve not been keeping up much here. This semester has been great though! I’m taking MySQL with Texas politics this go around. Here is a quick update on my grades, then I’ll pleasure you all with the status of my back later on.
